Morocco Tour on 7 days, to discover from Casablanca, discover the beautiful imperial cities from Rabat, from Fez, Chefchaouen in the Rif and the Merzouga desert.

This tour begins with a visit to the beautiful imperial city of Rabat. Ensuite, road to Chefchaouen, charming town located on the mountainside in the Rif region. You walk through the shady alleys with our guide, narrow and sloping of this beautiful medina which has the wind in its sails and which attracts more and more tourists. Road to Fez, you discover this fascinating imperial city. Our tour then takes us to Azrou, city ​​located 1 200 m altitude at 89 kms south of Fes.

Azrou is famous for its cherry trees, its apple trees, its fish farming and especially for its beautiful cedar forests and monkeys, Barbary macaques. These hoards are used to visits from tourists and approach us closely during our stopover. Further, we stop at Ifrane 1 713 m, resort and ski resort.

With its sloping roof chalets, Ifrane is nicknamed "Little Switzerland". We leave the Middle Atlas region, the landscapes become more and more desert ! Road to Merzouga. Arriving, you see in the distance, l'Erg Chebbi, the highest dunes of the Moroccan Sahara which rise to 160 m. Stroll 1 H 30 on camel back. And we climb to the top to watch the sunset over the dunes. During our transfer day for the return to Marrakech, we visit in passing, the spectacular Todra Gorges whose walls rise to 300 m and the beautiful kasbah de Ait BenHadou, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 1 : Airport reception

Our guide welcomes you at Casablanca airport. According to your arrival time, possibility to visit the Hassan II Mosque before your transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen

Departure of your Discovery tour of Morocco. Road to Rabat, Moroccan imperial city located on the banks of the Bouregreg river and the Atlantic Ocean. First of all, you discover the Kasbah Oudayas, royal fort from the Berber era that overlooks the sea and is surrounded by formal French-style gardens. Visit of the Mohamed V Mausoleum, of the Hassan II tower. Stroll through the picturesque gardens and Roman ruins of the Chellah which are located on the site of an ancient city. From Rabat, we take the road to Chefchaouen. Arriving, pleasant and easy ride 30 minutes on a well-marked path to reach the small Buzafar mosque. This old mosque built by the Spaniards during the occupation of the Rif has been restored. From up there, Breathtaking view of the medina and a magical place to admire the sunset over Chefchaouen !

Day 3: Chefchaouen - Fès

Visit of Chefchaouen. Charming little town located in the Rif mountains. With our guide you walk the narrow and steep alleys of the medina clinging to the mountainside. Chefchaouen attracts more and more visitors with its houses in different shades of faded blue, its sources, its waterfalls, the sumptuous kasbah with red walls dating from the 15th century which is located in Uta El Hamam square, the colorful stalls and all the typical little restaurants where it is good to stop. After the visit of Chefchaouen, road to Fez. Arriving, installation at the hotel. Traditional dinner, evening with dancers, musicians and magician.

Day 4: Visit of Fez

Visit the beautiful imperial city of Fez which is sure to enchant you ! We enter through Bab Boujloud, magnificent door dating from the 12th century covered with blue and green ceramics. We pass through the Jewish quarter, the Mellah with its characteristic houses. Ensuite, look at the superb Karaouiyine Mosque and University, true spiritual center in Fez. Another stop at Merdersa Bou Inania, beautiful coronic school with its sculptures, his "moucharabiehs" in cedar and its zelliges. Then a must-see visit to the Chouara tanneries. On the terrace of a leather shop, we see the large vats of dyes. And visit a pottery, we observe the meticulous and precise work of the craftsmen.

Day 5: Fès - Azrou - Midelt - Merzouga

From Fez, road to Azrou located 1 200 m altitude in the Middle Atlas . Stunning hilly and green landscapes, beautiful cedar forests populated with magots. We stop at Ifrane 1 713 m, resort named the "Little Switzerland" with its sloping roof chalets. Ensuite, road to Merzouga. Stunning desert with dunes rising up to 300 m. When you arrive, take a camel ride in the dunes. Evening with the nomads around a fire under the stars. They bake the desert bread in the sand to accompany a delicious tagine prepared by our cook. And tonight, you will sleep in the desert either under the stars or in a tent !

Day 6: Merzouga - Gorges Todra - Ait Ben Haddou

We are leaving Merzouga. Road to the Todra Gorge located 15 kms from Tinghir. These gorges are among the most beautiful natural wonders of Morocco. Stroll 30 minutes at the foot of high limestone cliffs up to 300 m and which are impressive by their spectacular sheer plunging down to the bed of the river ! These cliffs are very popular with climbers from all over the world.. At the end of the gorges, very beautiful palm grove which extends over 25 kms to Tinghir. Continuation to Ait Benhadou. Walking tour of 1 H 30 of the site which was the location of several films such as Lawrence of Arabia. Ait Benhadou is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

Road to Marrakech via the Tichka pass 2 260 m. Breathtaking view of the high atlas mountains. The afternoon, you visit in Marrakech, with our cultural guide, the Saadian tombs. These are the only remains of the Saadian dynasty dating from the golden age of Marrakech 1524-1659. Other visit : the Bahia Palace made up of 150 rooms located in a green Islamic garden planted with orange trees, banana trees, cypress, hibiscus, of jasmine irrigated by the famous khettaras with water from the atlas. Your tour ends in the evening with a visit to Jemaa el Fnaa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.. On the square, you find fruit juice carriages, dried fruit, mobile restaurants that set up from 17 H to treat the crowd with all the local specialties but also storytellers, dancers, water vendors and snake charmers. It is a real open-air theater and the entertainment is at its peak in the evening and until late at night..
