Trek Sahara on 5 days. An unforgettable experience !
Very nice trek of ergs (dunes) and right (dry wadis), walk in the desert, disconnect from everyday life away from the hustle and bustle of the cities !
From Marrakech, road to Ouarzazate via the Tichka pass 2 260 m. At the pass, superb view of the high atlas mountains. Lunch break in Ouarzazate and descent of the Draa valley famous for its “ksars”, fortified villages built in adobe and for its beautiful palm groves.
After 450 kilometers of road, arrival in Zagora, large town located at the gates of desert. Small stop to stock up on fresh products and mineral water.
A few kilometers from Zagora, we reach our first camp located in the dunes near the village of Nesrate. Meeting with our cook and our camel drivers. First mint tea in the middle of nature. Superb palm trees close to our bivouac. Red-orange sunset over the dunes. Night in the tent.
The next day,start of the hike. We pass the Berber villages of Moulay Ali Achrif and Zaouiat Sidi Salah. Houses built in adobe, change from ocher to red and merge with the sand ! Lunch break in an oasis in the shade of a palm tree. Ensuite,beautiful hike in the wild dunes of Bougarn. We continue to our camp in Tidri. At dinner, our cook serves us a delicious couscous.
After breakfast, dismantling the camp and loading the camels, hike in the beautiful dunes of Tidri. We then cross a large plateau. The horizon is limitless. A few rare acacias are resistant to drought. Bivouac in the dunes of the Erg Sahel. At nightfall, the camel drivers prepare the “nick”, bread from desert which they cook on embers covered with sand. Unforgettable evening dancing and singing around a fire made with tamarisk wood that we collected around the camp.
The fourth day, hike from Erg Sahel to Ouled Driss. Stunning desert landscapes. Lunch break on the outskirts of the village of Ergabi surrounded by sand dunes. Arriving at Ouled Driss, visit of the fortified village built in the 17th century in the heart of an oasis and located at 5 kilometers from M’Hamid.
Hiking easy itineraries, daily walking time of 5 H 30. You walk "light" with a small backpack containing your daily things. Your trekking bag and cooking and bivouac equipment are transported by camels. Good lunch break at noon with a nap before leaving. Wild campsites, unforgettable evenings with nomads, night under the stars or in a tent.

Departure from Marrakech. Passage of the highest road pass in Morocco, le col Tichka 2 260 m. Beautiful winding road, breathtaking view of the high atlas mountains. At the pass, a photo stop is required. We then join Ouarzazate, the city of cinema and descend the Draa valley famous for its "ksars", magnificent fortified villages and for its beautiful palm groves. A few kilometers from Zagora, large town located at the gates of the desert, here we are at our first camp in the small dunes of Nesrate. Near, beautiful palm trees. Superb sunset in red-orange tones over the dunes, night under the stars or in a tent ! Route : 07 H
Beginning of the hike. We pass through the Berber villages of Ignaoun and Moulay-Ali-Achrif and through the village of Zaouiat Sidi Salah before plunging into the desert. Lunch break in an oasis, absolute tranquility ! That the "noise" dromedaries taking advantage of our stop to chew on some acacia leaves or the song of the" moula-moula", white-headed wheatear, the most faithful bird that discreetly follows you throughout your trek in the desert. Continuation of the hike in the beautiful dunes of Bou Gaiwarne, beautiful little frequented corner. Camp in the middle of the Tidri dunes. Duration of the walk : 05 H 30

Hike towards the village of Bono. Stunning desert landscapes ! Walking in the desert is ideal for letting go, to disconnect from everyday life and to reconnect with yourself ! Lunch break on the outskirts of the village of Ergabi. We see the mud houses that merge with the sand. In the afternoon, walk to Ouled Driss, fortified village located 5 kms from M'Hamid and surrounded by the dunes of the Moroccan Sahara desert. Duration of the walk : 05 H 30
Return transfer to Marrakech. We go up the Draa Valley, let's move on to Ouarzazate and the Tichka pass. Route : 08 H
